Container café
Service counter & commercial kitchen fit-out
These café fit-out photographs show the working space behind the serving hatch: stainless steel benches, sinks, refrigeration and coffee equipment.
Choose a mobile trailer, a container-based kitchen or a retail unit. Each format is configured around the equipment, access and service space you need.
Start with your menu, team and service volume. Equipment dimensions inform preparation zones, refrigeration, storage, bench space and circulation.
Client-supplied appliances can be included by agreement, with specifications confirmed before fit-out.
Structure & service openings
Platform dimensions, reinforced openings, personnel access, hatches, counters, lift assistance, weather seals and locking points are defined around the intended use and transport requirements.
Materials & interior finishes
Discuss insulation, washable wall linings, commercial flooring, stainless steel work surfaces, shelving and cabinetry. The quotation confirms the selected materials and finishes.
Power, water & ventilation
Lighting, outlets, electrical provision, sinks, hot water, tanks, waste arrangements and extraction are coordinated with the nominated equipment and site connections.
Your brand, in the detail
Exterior colours, signage areas, menu displays, lighting and customer-facing finishes are developed around your identity. Open trading and closed transport configurations are considered together.
Scope, delivery & handover
Your proposal should identify inclusions, client-supplied items, transport, site works and available documentation. We discuss access, placement and connection requirements before dispatch.
Project-specific checks and certificates should be confirmed in the scope. Local site approvals and food registration are separate requirements.
For brands & agencies
Branded retail & event installations
We also manufacture for third-party brands and agencies. From a retail launch to an event activation, we develop spaces around the brand, the audience and the operating brief.
Selected branded formats from our project presentation. Third-party names and marks identify the pictured installations and do not imply endorsement.

The company behind The Food Vans
Container Homes Designer Domain
The Food Vans brings together CHDD’s mobile food, container café and pop-up work. Your project is handled through Container Homes Designer Domain Pty Limited, an Australian private company with an active ABN since 2012.
Each build is quoted individually. Size, equipment, finishes, services and delivery location all affect the price. Send your brief and indicative budget so we can develop a relevant scope and quotation.
Can you work with my equipment?
Yes, by agreement. We need confirmed dimensions and connection requirements early to plan cabinetry, ventilation, clearances, power and water.
What about delivery and timing?
Timing is confirmed for the scope and production schedule of your project. Delivery is quoted for your location, taking access, towing or lifting requirements and site connections into account.
What approvals will I need?
Requirements depend on the unit, its use and where you trade. Confirm planning, food registration, road and site requirements with the relevant authority. We can discuss available build information; any required project certification should be identified in your agreed scope.
Can you build under our brand?
Yes. We work on third-party branded projects and can discuss exterior finishes, signage zones, equipment, retail display and event requirements with your team or agency.
